At almost 70, Patti realised how society expects women to slowly fade away and shrink themselves. So she chose to break the pattern. Twelve Yarns is her refusal to disappear.
This is the slowest form of fashion. Driven by pure passion and inspired by the moments of everyday life, Patti knits entirely at her own pace, wherever she finds herself. There's no fancy studios, or outsourced labour. It's just Patti and her needles.
Because every single stitch is placed by her hands, each piece becomes a symbol of resilience and a unique moment of her creative expression.
To keep this master craft alive and pass down that same spirit of bravery, Patti taught her daughters, who now knit and support her. Together, they create one-of-a-kind armour for those who refuse to blend in.
